Out Today: Lion Heart by AC Gaughen!

LION HEART
Scarlet Trilogy, Book Three
by AC Gaughen

The eagerly-awaited conclusion to the Scarlet trilogy delivers another action-packed and romance-filled adventure.

Scarlet has captured the hearts of readers as well as the heart of Robin Hood, and after ceaseless obstacles and countless threats, readers will finally find out the fate of the Lady Thief.

Imprisoned by Prince John for months, Scarlet finds herself a long way from Nottinghamshire. After a daring escape from the Prince's clutches, she learns that King Richard’s life is in jeopardy, and Eleanor of Aquitaine demands a service Scarlet can’t refuse: spy for her and help bring Richard home safe. But fate—and her heart—won’t allow her to stay away from Nottinghamshire for long, and together, Scarlet and Rob must stop Prince John from going through with his dark plans for England. They can not rest until he’s stopped, but will their love be enough to save them once and for all?

Quick Review:
How to say goodbye to one of the most intense, fraught with peril, supremely romantic, and engaging series I've ever read? It's hard to say goodbye, but the end was so fulfilling that it's a bit easier.

Scarlet- or Marian if you're fancy- has always risen to every occasion, she's sacrificed EVERYTHING for what she believes in, she has paid with blood and pain to escape some impossible situations. And Scarlet has come out a lioness. She finally accepts her place in the world and uses it to help save the people of Nottinghamshire and England.

The thing about the author A.C. Gaughen, is that she is pretty ruthless. No one is safe, people die ALL THE TIME. And if you think there is a happily ever after in store for you in Lion Heart without sacrifice then you are in dreamland. Also, read up on your history and see how Prince John fares. It doesn't seem to bode well for your heroes does it. Can Scarlet, Robin, Winchester, Much & their allies not just save the day, but live to see it? I'll never tell.

One last thing, this is the most romantic of the trilogy, and swoons were had readers, I swooned a lot.
