I am so in love with this series. Because of time constraints I tried it in audio format, and it was as if I'd dropped headfirst into the book. Read by Alan Cumming, the audio book (much like the Harry Potter series read by the amazing Jim Dale) sucked me in completely. These characters came alive for me, not just because I was listening to the book, but because the story and characters are so rich. I kept going through my favorite chapters again and again, and going to the book to read and to see those awesome illustrations that are littered throughout the pages. I cannot wait to see what's in store for Alek and Deryn in Goliath!
